Hall and Oates - one of the more unlikely pairings, but it happened at Rainforest Benefit (if I recall, did "she's gone", but alas, not into "he's gone"). Also see Stephen Stills "Love The One You're With"

Give a listen to the 12-31-82 encores with Etta James and Tower of Power horns-fun stuff, the Dead as a blues band backing like they did when Pigpen would run the show. Also 6-7-69 Lovelight with Janis.

yep, it would have to be either Aaron Neville or the Neville Brothers that would be my top pick somewhere.

Maybe Sting at Las Vegas would be a good choice too.
